Our Story

Founded in August of 2020 by Brian Fischer, Custom Pallet Bar MKE started when Brian’s brother asked him to build him a pallet bar. His initial reaction was, “you mean from crappy old shipping pallets?” But after searching the City of Milwaukee for pallets and finding the wood to be very sturdy and remarkably the exact size for a bar, he built his first pallet bar (pictured below). From there he realized the slats of wood from the pallets would be perfect for designing an American Flag and made his first sale on Facebook not long after. Based on customer designs and his own designs and vision, the bars became more finished and refined to the point were you wouldn’t know they were made from reclaimed wood from blue collar shipping pallets. By working with reclaimed wood Custom Pallet Bar MKE is helping the environment and giving retired shipping pallets a second life in your home.
